I've been using this Trim Guide for over 7 years. What I like about it is I get a precision cut every time I use it. It takes the guesswork out of setting up and having to recheck your measurements. I use my 8 footer for cutting in sliders, doors and windows over stucco to create a perfect opening. The beauty about it is that you can use clamps or screws to hold the trim guide down so set up is literally seconds. The four footer comes in a handy when you're doing precision finish work.I highly recommend this product.

Hi there, I just want to put a comment out there about a tool called the trim guide. I am a general contractor my specialty is hanging doors and that tool comes in real handy when I have to trim the bottom of a whole house of doors it's one of the many Tools in my Arsenal and that is a great tool if you're a door hanger or anything that has to do with carpentry and cutting a straight line I highly recommend the trim guide

We use skill saws on a daily basis to under cut and under width doors.We need to move quickly but also ensure that the cuts are straight and perfect everytime. We have tried many different skill saw guides and tricks such as levels or homemade wood guides but the Trim Guide is by far the longest lasting and the easiest to use
